Karen, thanks. Wonderful answer. But why does the solution always involve MORE fish? My solutions to the tanks always somehow or other require 1. A 'new' holding tank, followed up with 'Got to put some stuff in the tank'! But, all joking aside, I will get some dwarfs. After they do the hydra thing I can move them to one of those 'holding tanks' and try breeding them. I bred Pearl Gouramis many, too many, years ago and it was a lot of fun raising hundreds of fry. Thanks again. I really did not want to use any chemicals, this 29 has been going for more than a year and looks good.
