BTW, some people think that the ich medicine called malichite green (because its color is similar to the mineral by that name) has copper in it. It does not. The mistake is due to the mineral by thesame name comprises copper among its constituents. This matters because copper in anything more than trace amounts genrally harms plants. Malachite green won't harm plants. sh --- Mitoem@aol.com wrote: > I've used Maracide to treat stubborn cases of ich in my > heavily planted tanks > with no harm done to the plants. > > Good luck. > > Erica > <A > HREF="http://members.aol.com/_ht_a/mitoem/mitoem/index.htm">http://members.aol.com/_ht_a/mitoem/mitoem/index.htm</A> > > > --- StripMime Report -- processed MIME parts --- > multipart/alternative > text/plain (text body -- kept) > text/html > --- > ------------------ > To unsubscribe from this list, please send mail to > majordomo@thekrib.com > with "Unsubscribe aga-member" in the body of the > message.
