BTW, some people think that the ich medicine called
malichite green (because its color is similar to the
mineral by that name) has copper in it.  It does not.  The
mistake is due to the mineral by thesame name comprises
copper among its constituents.

This matters because copper in anything more than trace
amounts genrally harms plants.

Malachite green won't harm plants.
