Re: [AGA Member] CO2

Aw, the Hagan system is pretty cool, and it does come with the "bottle." So for another $10 you get the whole thing: canister with top, CO2 tubing, a clip to hold the canister securely in place, diffuser, and some yeast to get you started. I have one of these and really like it so far. I think one will do up to 30 gallons. For a 90 gallon tank it would be better to go with a pressurized setup, IMHO.

Kathy is right about the diffuser. It's fun to watch.

Oh yeah, by whole system, Ithink Kathy means you don't need
the whole Hagen system. NOt that the hagen diffuser is
asubstiture for all the other CO2 stuff. The whole Hagen
system is just a yeast fermentation set up, minus the
bottle, right? But the bubble rector is neat.

Like the Aqua-Medic/AB unit included inthe AZ Gardens
system but much cheaper ;-)

or you can buy the Hagen Diffuser for about $10. This is
the one that you can watch the bubbles get smaller at the CO2 diffuse,
great for a chemistry lesson and cool to watch. don't buy the whole
system, just the diffuser that clips inside the tank.
