If you can DIY a little, then there are several ways to get PC lights over your tank. 6x96 watt lamps with reflectors or 12x55 watt lamps with reflectors (running front-to-back on the tank) should work. If you're worried about waste heat then (I'm not positive about this, but) I think that PC lights are probably the most efficient lamps you can get that are suitable for aquarium use. That means less heat generated outside the tank for the amount of light produced.
