I have no idea what the CO2 concentration was in my tank when that tragedy happened. But it's probably not even 40 ppm since I didn't find the fish and shrimps came up to the surface for air. And I only lost Amano shrimp, fish and other kinds of shrimps were all doing normal. Furthermore, those Amano shrimps didn't die right away. I started to find bodies few days after I changed the CO2 amount, but they did stop dying right after I changed the CO2 amount back. Anyway, I still don't know it's because the CO2 or the PH or maybe something else. But I did hear few hobbyists also mentioned this problem back in Taiwan(Amano shrimp is quite popular over there..and cheap). --- "S.
