The only person yelling is Mary. Dave ahs OFFERED us a 2 page spread in the next PAM to _publicize_ our contest. He does not _need_ the material. He is trying his darndest to support the work of AGA, and we are again slapping him in the face. Dorothy, when you say it is "our baby", don't you agree that one of the main purposes of AGA is to spread the word about planted tnaks? If so, doesn't it make sense to use every avenue possible to spread the word? Dave, nor Erik nor I have said we want PAM to "scoop" TAG. That's exactly why this whole mess came up. Dave is trying very hard to fit something into PAM for us on a timely basis. But there is much more material available than Mary can possibly use. It makes sense to use these resources wisely for the further promotion of both AGA and the planted tank hobby in general. The problem is that Mary is being very dog-in-the-mangerish about this. She wants to give Dave only the dregs, and only after she has taken her own sweet time deciding what she might use at some point. Dave has said, quite reasonably, (he was _not_ blustering or threatening) that if the contest becomes "old news" it's not fair to his readers for him to waste editorial space on it. Dave will play it either way. He'll have no problem filling those two pages with information interesting to his readers. It's only the AGA that stands to lose if Mary continues this road block.
