I agree with everything Erik said.

I also agree that a new, outside, person would be good as the liason.  Mike
Hellweg comes to mind... he's not totally "outside", but he's certainly
underutilized, and I think he can be diplomatic.  He definitely has a good
head on his shoulders.

For the time being, until we got someone permanent, if Dave agrees to do
this, I would be willing to work with him to do the AGA section.  I don't
have any trouble dealing with him.
