CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
You are officially the new AGA Convention
Chairperson.
You can select how ever many and whomever you want
as the other folks on your committee as full-time committee members. When the
site for next year's convention is selected, you can ask for them to have a
committee to run the convention, and I suggest that the chairpersons of each
local convention committee be on your committee for the year.
We can't tell you how much AGA appreciates what you
have done by starting the convention and running it last year and this.With this
newly formalized structure we hope to continue to get the benefit of your
energy, intelligence and efforts but not have to ask you to spend anywhere near
as much time on each convention as you have when you were chairing it for the
past two years.
If you have any questions or if I can do anything
to help out, please give me a shout. And thanks again for all of your efforts in
the past, and for your continuing efforts in the future.
