TAG matters

I think what bothers me most is that both of the letters we've recieved from
members have been simple, polite inquiries. They weren't even complaints.
All these people needed was a polite explanation. Instead, Diana left them
both with the impression that AGA was run by a group of bumbling idiots.
>From what I've seen there is only one person who MAY not have received a
copy of Erik's issue. (Doug Rellstab, who's name was forwarded to me by
Jack) I have the box of left-over's from that issue in hand now, so anyone
else who missed one can easily be handled now. The other inquiries were
simply misunerstandings caused by the numbering change... something that we
_are_ going to have to deal with.
I now also have quite a few extras of the new issue, and I think these are
great promotional items. If any of you want some let me know, and I'll send
you out a handful.
Finally, David, I checked with Step direct, and the the difference between
the mailing in Feb, and the mailing in June was only about $20. (and a few
more pieces were mailed) I think you were comparing the domestic number in
Feb. with the domestic plus foreign number for June.
If we feel that this rate is too high, I wouldn't be adverse to going back
to bulk as long as we send them in envelopes. I personally feel that the
periodical rate guidelines are too complicated for an organization like ours
without one, central office. But that's a decision that everyone needs to
make together.
