Yes -- I have been a little concerned about this and this is not unexpected.
I had the "get sponsors" thing dumped on me, and I dutifully put together a
list from the hard copies of last years and sent out piles of begging
letters. I have only gotten three boxes of goodies from naufacturers, and a
promise of one $100 ad.
Charlene just asked me to give the hotel my credit card to guarantee things,
and I'm glad I have not gotten to it yet.
One thing to keep in mind, Claus' ticket has already been paid for.
I don't have any trenchant comments, other than that we need to decide very
quickly. I just received a bunch of hecks and credit cards for attendance
fees, and was going to process them over the weekend. I will wait until we
get a clearer idea of what we are going to do.
