Let's let the BAS BOD chew on it a bit, then ask them what they think after new years if they haven't reached a decision on their own. They do manage to field a committee to run the BAS auction every year, and they wouldn't need that many more people. I haven't done anything for the annual auction in several years now, and I don't think you've been involved either, have you? I think there are several other of the local "plant people" who would come out of the woodwork to help with this IF we can get someone to chair the committee. Hmmm. I'll send an e-mail to Bill Curtin. He's been on the side-lines for long enough that he might be willing to take on a project. And he can't mountain bike any more since he damaged his knee.
