Depending on how the billing for TAG and the convnetion check falls, we may end up "breaking even" this year *on paper*. But if you look at it carefully, you'll discover that this is in part due to your campaigning for membership in December/January (which was realized in a bulk PayPal transfer in 2003), the new Oriental book, Kathy's ad invoicing (which included $2000+ worth of Tropica and Seachem ads actually printed in 2002), and possibly both the 2002 and 2003 convention revenue. So perhaps 2003 is artificially worse and 2003 is artificially better. If you take a look at David's budget spreadsheet (enclosed), you'll see the real concern -- if we keep with our current numbers, we're still going to be down $6000 for the fiscal year 2004. - Erik -- Erik Olson erik at thekrib dot com
