This would end up a holding tank/clearing house for stuff that might be redirected elsewhere among these forums and be a location for stuff that doesn't fit in elsewhere. Or comments posed to generate discussion. A catch -all, like a Bucket. If I was going thematic, I'd call it the Chum Bucket. > Paludariums? (Gadd?) > Marine plants? (draw Tom Barr in?) I like how that works with both meanings -- his plantfest ads on DFWAPC with those stick figures. Everybody asks Tom to join their board and he promises to try to look in when he can and intially the activity is high, but it fades off. If we have this section and a poster or two that's zealous about it, Tom will surely visit. > Members' photo gallery? > > comfort re liabilities > > I wonder if David could run it by his lawyer friend who > helped with the > incorporation/non-profit stuff? So we should pick one or the other and present the question that way. > > > Initial Moderators on board > > Maybe we should ask him whether he's just offering to > host the forum, or if > he'd moderate it too? I've done my share of that.<g> Sounded to me like he expected there to be moderators but he'd oversee. James himself is a mod on AB, and Phil Edwards and Roger. But Ghori might have retired from AB. I can see some tension here with AB. As for mod roles, I'd accept whichever is leftover (roles, leftovers, how thematic). I'd do Equipment for the fun of it but it's much better to try for GB on high tech, which would make "Equip." redundant, which a lot of gardeners think much of it is anyway :-) sh ===== S.
