I agree. Between the overwhelming lack of enthusiasm, plus the potential liability issues, I motion that we can the idea of an AGA BB/Forum. > I think it's great to have one of the Web-AGA locations be > "The Randall Library." I don't know that we want to call it the "Randall Library"<g> I think it would be better to have a general "AGA Library. There are many authors worthy of inclusion... some of whom don't even know that they are authors yet. ;-) > Having links to other sites might be even harder to keep > up-to-date than articles. But you are right, it would be better if someone monitored them to make sure they were working and appropriate. I'll dig back through e-mail and see if I can find the name of the guy who offered to help before the convention. We said we'd get back to him, and I don't think we ever did. The other possibility for proofing for need of updates would be just to have a one-time committee that we set up each year with whoever offers to help. Then we could just divide up the articles, skim them and report back. Once a year is probably plenty often, and it's easier to keep enthusiasm up for a short time among a "crew" then one person for the long haul. Maybe if we had one person willing to coordinate that effort. > If we use "Stranded" stuff, possibly we might not limit > ourselves to just the ones from TAG. And take it from one who knows, Tom's official "articles" require at least as much editting as his posts on the APD ;-) What do the rest of you think? I think this is more in keeping with our mission statement than BB anyway We have much more control of the content without upsetting people by telling them they don't know what they're talking about!<g> Karen ------------------ To unsubscribe from this list, e-mail majordomo@thekrib.com with "unsubscribe aga-sc" in the body of the message.
