All I ask is that you pray to the computer gods that the hard drive isn't damaged. As I said to Cheryl, at first I didn't panic, because I always back up regularly. THEN I remembered that the last time I backed up was BEFORE the convention on the OLD lap top, which is now in Brazil with Dr. Chao, after having its brain wiped clean. Since then, between the convention and the surgery, I never even thought about it until I opened up this computer to work, and realized there is NOTHING on here. The ridiculous thing is that I very carefully saved all the photos from the convention to CD's first thing after the convention... But didn't think of all the REALLY important stuff like my text files. If I don't get it back, you can forget about contributions from me to the "AGA library" for a while. I don't have a single article. The only good news is that I'm fairly sure it isn't a virus, because I run Norton daily, and all attachments are scanned as they come in. Of course, I could always be the first on the block to get a new one, but I don't even want to GO there.
