I did some checking around when we first went with Amprint, and they were in the ball park with everyone else in this area. Let's see how it goes before we jump into anything. That would get very complicated since both Cheryl and I need to talk to them pretty regularly. (not many times per issue, but usually at least a couple of times per issue... sometimes more if there is a real problem like the color problem we had with an Amano ad that wasn't caught until I saw the proof. > Are there other ways we can make things more likely to be > smoother (or easier to smooth when Murphy impresses his > profound presence)? The first thing I did this afternoon was ask CHeryl to see if there is a fulfillment center near her. The printer near her gave us a quote only marginally higher ($50 or so) than the Canadian one. If there is a fulfillment center that is within easy distance of Cheryl, I would strongly suggest using that configuration rather than a Canadian printer that has to ship the magazines to an American fulfillment center before they finally get mailed out, all of which are outside of our direct access. Unfortunately, this would mean we would have to ask Cheryl to be the "nurser-alonger" rather than me... someting I hate to put on her shoulders with all the other hats she is currently wearing.
