OK, I see the differences in what you are saying. I agree that Scott should be the liaison between the AGA BOD and the convention host organization. How this is structured needs to be workable and in line with the convention guidelines that have already been drawn up. Since the convention ran remarkably smoothly this year, I think it would be prudent to stay with this model for at least a year or two more before we decide to do any major modifications. Why mess with something that is working well. That said, I DO think it is vitally important to have a solid, on-going connection between the convention staff and the AGA BOD. If Scott is open to assuming that responsibility, IMO, he's the man for the job. I think calling him "Convention Liaison" says what we need to be said, and doesn't make the host club feel like we are usurping their command.
