They have picked a lot of there key staff already. It wouldn't make sense for us to try to run the thing or second guess their decisions. I don't think that's what David had in mind. The Board already has approval power over the acceptance of any finacial obligations. The structure of the convention and the budget are subject to Board approval. So I guess I have to agree with what you're saying, Erik. It's good to have some strong connections but important to allow them to execute their own plan (espeicailly since we will have approved it). Also, let's note that, while everyone agrees that this year was a smash. Next year won't be just like it even if we tried to make it so. I don't mean not a smash -- I mean it will be a somewhat diff kind of show. It will be made by diff personalities, different geography, diff speakers, etc. sh --- Erik Olson <erik@thekrib.com> wrote: > On Thu, 18 Dec 2003, Cheryl Rogers wrote: > > I think that the locals will want to select their > people for the > > different jobs. > I actually think that what happened this > year was pretty > good, and is the model I'd like to see for future years. > I *don't* want > the AGA to be calling the individual shots.
