Re: GWAPA Proposal rough draft2 (fwd)

I agree with much of what Kathy has said. Other thoughts:

1. I don't think that they would need to pay for both Tomoko AND Amano's
person, though. I suspect that Amano will be comfortable enough with Tomoko
after Tennessee and the fact that she translates ALL his articles for us
that he won't feel the need for someone else. He paid for Nozomi to come
the last time. I think if he wants him to come, he'd probably willing to
bring him on his own dime again.

2. As far as Tomoko rooming with me, that is dependent on whether Dorothy
is coming or not. Dorothy is my "regular roomie". I set up to share with
Christel this year first because at that point it didn't look like we had
talked Dorothy into coming, and second, I wanted to make sure that Christel
had a really good time, and the opportunity to get out collecting. I like
Tomoko a lot, and would have no problem sharing a room with her, but Dorothy
comes first!<g> Plus, for Amano to work, I think we are all in agreement
that Tomoko makes or breaks it. I think she deserves a room of her own for
that.

I agree with Kathy that having Amano come and NOT having him set up a tank
would be a shame, and would probably be a disappointment to people who heard
the rave reviews about it from Chattanooga.

The numbers look pretty good to me too, but I wasn't that involved with that
part in the past, so others will ahve to make the final call on that piece.

Karen
