Re: Fw: AGA Convention 2004



I don't speak or understand a WORD of Japanese, and I was in as much awe of
Tomoko as I was of Amano himself.  When we were out and about during the
days leading up to the conference, I found that it was easy to forget that
we had someone with us who spoke no English.  She translated so fluidly in
both directions, including explaining jokes, that it just felt like a normal
conversation, you didn't even have to think about it.
