I would be worried that if limited on some items in the auction it is harder to track, creates more hassel. I agree about limiting it to x number of people. Basically if we do 50 people with bonus bucks at $10 each, that means it is $500 less that the convention makes. I like the idea of bonus bucks and do think they are catchy, but in an organization where we are worried about do we have enough to do everything we want how much can we afford to do. Maybe we do this for the first 20, or not at all. I feel like a stick in the mud on this, but it is just one more thing for them to worry about. Totally override me on this one....it is okay, my feelings are not that strong. It is just when we are counting pennies giving away dollars, doesn't seem okay. I know we think the convention should make money, but we are facing more hotel fee's on this one, and nothing is certain. Anyway, I feel like such a naysayer here, but $500 is $500 of profit. Okay, back to doing my online continuing medical education here...have to do that before Feb and not sure how much more time I will have!
