Re: GWAPA Proposal -- AGA2K4 -- 1-4-2004 (fwd)



The fliers were the big hit, intended to hit prospective
patrons who by then had already heard of the convention and
would be making their decision to go or not about that time
in in the next few subsequent weeks.

There were numerous email followups susequently.
Although registrations began in July, over 65% of them
occured after the mailer, in late Sept and Oct.


So August might be too soon because it's to soon for folks
to think about the convention but I don't think it's too
soon because of vacations and mail deliveries.  In fact, it
might be better for us for the ones on vacatin becasue they
won't read the TAGs until Sept, the supposed prime time for
considering the convention.
