I agree. We can't count on any specific income figure from the convention, so we can't count on it for a regular, recurring expense... Not to say it can't help to flow money back and forth from time to time, just as we would have funded the shortfall if the Houston convention had lost money. Also, I think we should eventually, when we get on firmer financial footing, work toward being able to pick up more of the tab for more of our speakers.
