[AGA SC] Hotels

Please post or send me directly any comments you have re
the hotel contracts.

I suspect that we will go through at least one more round
with the hotel -- sending a markup and the hotels editing
our edits.

Right now the contracts offer protections for the hotels
and not AGA2K4. They are charging roomnight guarantees AND
meeting room fees plus services fees. They aren't
guaranteeing prices until 90 days before the event, the cut
off for the roomrates is 30 days before.

The contracts do not address room rates for before and
after the convention dates.

The hotels want protection from failure to perform due to
extraordianry circumstances (labor strikes, God, etc.) but
such protection is not in the contracts for AGA2K4.


Anything you'd like to add (or subtract) so far?
