Hi all --

Enclosed is the financial report for 2003, and the budget for 2004. A few comments, please

1) We ended up with a ($2,664) loss for FY 2003.

2) Had we not paid for some of the 2002 convention (the disputed portion that was not settled at the end of 2002) we would have made a profit in 2003.

3) Our cash position is about what it was the end of 2002 -- we seem to have stemmed the bleeding. This was due to a) Kathy getting the payments from our advertisers and 2) AGA's share of the profit from the 2003 convention, much of which we can thank Scott for. Way to go guys.

 

For the budget for 2004 I have assumed:

1) A modest increase in membership revenue

2) No revenue from the 2004 convention

3) A savings of $2,000 per issue on the last 3 TAGs of the year.

 

Based on that we should make a small profit in 2004. Fortunately we are non-profit.

 

Please feel free to play around with the budget numbers -- that's the beauty of a spreadsheet.
