Another one of Timothy's tactics with vegetables is to swallow them whole,
with a gulp of milk, like taking a pill.  Of course, I take delight in
making it harder for him, with REALLY LONG string beans or fat broccoli
stalks.  Then he has to choose between cutting them up, which he hates to
do, or CHEWING them, which is worse.<g>

He is the most anti-green-stuff kid I've ever met.  He doesn't even like
ketchup, which I thought was the one sure-fire, kid friendly "vegetable".
He will gladly tell you that this is because he's a carnivore.<g>
