Hi all --
Two things on the topic of insurance.
Current insurance on the Treasurer -- We have a
policy that covers AGA for up to $25,000 if the Treasurer takes off with the
funds. Believe me, even in mt darkest mood I never thought about that one. The
policy is a 3 year policy (we are in the second year) and costs us $484 a year.
It covers the office of the Treasurer -- no other officers, but it covers
whoever is in that office.
General Liability and Officers and Directors --
Since we dropped this in the middle last time we have to start all over, which
means I will have a bunch of forms to fill out, some of which Erik also has to
sign. The deal was that first we have to gert a general liability policy, and
then we can have an inclusion that covers officers and directors. As I
understand it the policy not only covers AGA against suits, and pays for legal
defences, but covers the same for officers and directors,. More when the
application comes.
