Thanks. It was Cheryl that got me into that.

Yes. Good point. There's a reason Paypal only has certain
countries so far and not others. It's to Paypal's benefit
to have as many countries as possible unless the banking
relationships or local laws don't provide adequate
sureties.

Yes, the revs trail the expenses.

Same deal. Luckily most of this is settled by the end of
the year so we can use a calendar year for a fiscal year
without any sesonal oddities showing up in whole year
periods.

Ick is right. And one could argue that the membership is
only being bought because of the extras, so a ortion of the
regular TAG (or membership price) should be allocated to
the backissues -- i.e., the memberships bear a portion of
the overall discount.

But more importantly, to the extent the TAGs are old,
they're not really worth $5 or $6 anyway, which is why we
threw them into the combos. We ought to push them out the
door, but not in a way that detracts from memberships (why
buy a membership when I can just buy the TAGs cheap after
they're a year old?). I'd like to see the older TAGs gone
and not piling up. Pile them in with memberships, but don't
sell them for less than than the membership price ($5 or
less dollars each) except along with a membership. Then I
wouldn't even treat the older-than-one-year TAGs as
attracting revenue -- I'd only allocate to the "current
TAGs, which would make up the great preponderance of the
inventory.

Okay, but this was just a draft. For example, Cheryl's
question/comment might mean reworking the numbers.
Actually, I didn't think we made as much on TAGs as we do.
6% ain't bad given our otherwise low overhead (no office
rent, mortgages, loans, etc.)
