We have not heard back from Amano about the 4 books we did not pay for and we thought we had better ask again what others thought. Here's the story again: When Nozomi came to me at the convetion to be paid for the Amano books sales, he said the count was 49 because 1 had been given to Tomoko. But we had gotten a count from Tomoko of 45. Therefore, at the convention I paid Nozomi for 45 and told him that I was doing so based solely on the number from Tomoko and if that number was in error, to just let me know at any time and AGA would make up the diff. I know Cheryl has asked around and we haven't located the 4 "Mystery" books. Seems the possibilities are: 1) 4 books were stolen or misplaced; 2) 4 more books were sold and AGA received payment for them; 3) Amano grabbed 4 more books for whatever reason and forgot or forgot to tell Nozomi. For the first two cases, I think AGA should pay for the books since they were in our charge. I would doubt the later case except that Tomoko seems a more reliable source of info than Nozomi. So what do you folks think? Pay $400 more to Amano or just sit tight? sh _______________________________________________ AGA-sc mailing list AGA-sc@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/aga-sc
