Thanks, Tomoko, The only reason for splitting the amount was that we don't really know what happened with the books. However, since he doesn't have them, I am comfortable with the view that they must have been sold. The additional reasons you give add even more reason to send all $400 -- I assume by mug shot, you are referring to Cheryl and not me -- after all, the AJ does have an aesthetic reputation to maintain ;-) I am copying this message to the other Board members. Thanks again, sh --- Tomoko Schum <tomokoschum@knology.net> wrote:I think you should go ahead and send the money (all $400) to ADA with a letter stating clearly that you have been able to confirm the sale of the books. I don't think that will offend Mr. Amano. It's kind of strange to send only a half of it if you are going to send any at all. Actually the money you send would cover the cost of the Aqua Journal (January or February 2005 issue?) that ADA will be sending to a number of us in the near future. Nozomi told me yesterday that Mr. Amano will be mailing us the future Aqua Journal issue in which the article on AGA convention (Nozomi's piece) will appear. He's done the same to all the lady hobbyists that he took the pictures of during the convention (or at least to those he had the addresses for). 21 female AGA members were introduced individually with their pictures and stats in February 2002 issue of Aqua Journal. Your mug shot will be in the one that's coming <g>. Tomoko ----- Original Message ----- From: "S.
