Hi Cheryl,



It’s Darlene Walder in TN wondering that it’s time for me to renew my
membership ‘cause I believe I would do it around convention time.  Oh, I
was so close to you guys on that weekend, assuming that you were able to
attend.  I had committed to helping my husband with his Signal
Herpetoculture/ Chondro Coalition booth at a reptile trade show in
Philly on that same weekend and was terribly torn that I couldn’t split
my time by going back down to the AGA convention. I might have done it
too if the friend that I might have stayed with in D.C. wasn’t
devastated with the death of a close friend early Saturday.  Anyway, I
just had to enjoy the pics on the website instead.



I can’t recall when I emailed last but this has been a full year… My Dad
died on the 4th of July so since then I’ve had the readjust to life.
Then a dear uncle just died on the 9th of November.  I hope there are no
more circumstances to deal with for a while.



I’m happy to say that I have my first aquarium account…a total
renovation of a 300 gal. acrylic tank.  My husband and I will have fun
setting it up as a Malawi Cichlid tank.  Not much in the way of plants
in the works yet but just give me time. I might have the break the
locality rules on them.  I’ve been out of the AGA activities but don’t
count me out just yet…I’ll be back.  Perhaps I can be of some use in
getting in on the action at the Georgia Aquarium when that opens next
year. Do you think Amano will be coming back to the U.S. soon…how about
in the next few years to Atlanta?  Are there any AGA members I should
contact from Atlanta to see if there’s interest? See, I never give up…I
miss contributing.
