Yeah, we probably need to change the verbage in the contract document to reflect that we need a proposal and hotel contract by Nov 1. The problem I don't have an answer for is the fact that by the time they have a hotel contract in hand we have all put in so much of our and the potential host clubs time that we all feel like we have a level of committment. As we are all painfully aware, it takes so long to educate somebody on all of the variables that need to be anticipated in order to assure viability of the hotel. This requires some further thought but I don't even know if there is a better solution given the lack of national convention experience in our segment of the hobby.
