Aren't they the club that dickered with us to improve the Premium deal beyond what we originally offered them? If I was a Premium Club, I think I'd expect to get copies just like everyone else, but not to subsidize the production. GWAPA and DFWAPC might have some cash on hand to lend support, but probably not SF. We could ask all of the clubs we've had contact with if they would like to co-sponsor the document, be listed in the doc as such along with AGA, include info on how to join, all in exchange for contributing to print costs. I suppose we'd then promise them x number of copies and explain how we planned to distribute the rest of the docs. For each club, the contribution would have to at least cover the marginal cost of the print space listing their club. OTOH, we might skip the co-sponsor part, include all that info anyway on all the clubs and consider it a service to the hobby. That might win more friends and influence more people. Okay, that's as noble as I get. I'm putting the beanie back on my head. sh ----- Original Message ---- From: Cheryl Rogers <cheryl@wilstream.com> To: Aquatic Gardeners Association Board <aga-sc@thekrib.com> Sent: Wednesday, January 11, 2006 10:29:09 PM Subject: Re: [AGA-sc] was membership now motion for software purchase Erik Olson wrote: > Shall we make a proposal to print the Basics? I am almost done with *all* the pdf's you requested and Kren hasn't given me innards for TAG 19-2 yet. :-) I would like to get one more printing quote before going ahead. Would anyone else be willing to get a quote from a printer that is local to you? What do you think about printing it with a blank space on the back for a local club to stamp or sticker or suchlike? What do you think about asking SFBAAPC, as our Premium Club, to pitch in and help with printing costs?
