That's a big 10-4, imo. If we tell them nothing, it looks like we aren't doing anything.  
 
I agree with Larrry that we can't *announce* the date but that's not what's being suggeested - just that we tell them where we're at.
 
The truth shall set us free, if only we can stand the discount!
 
 
BTW, re the Park Plaza; it offered SF the same rates one gets if one walks in off the street with virtually no benefit for numbers of room nights. We'd hate to leave it at that. Heck, in that situation we could rent the event rooms and then tell the conventeers all the cheaper hotels in the area -- no special benefit for them or the AGA to stay at the Plaza.

I'm not advocating for any one approach, but this particular club is in a
slightly different position than the "general annoucement" category.  . . .
How would people feel if I gave them Scott's info, and then tell them to go
ahead and set their dates assuming ours will not change. We could tell them
that in the unlikely event that we DO need to change the date,  we will do
everything we can to avoid their dates once they are set?
