RE Wim. Thanks, I'll try to get a chance to look at Wim tonight, after I finish
resending more of those darn checks to asia. Does everyone in Asia use aphony
name when dealing with the USA. However good he is, the name doesn't sound like
a draw.
RE Tom speak. How can anybody still think that? Is he that out of touch?
RE wrokshops: Workshops take two - two and a half hours doing all four twice.
Isn't that how we did it in Vriginia? I understand how that workships are not a
part of SF's schedule. But I'm wondering if that's a mistake because I'm
personally wondering if 4 speakers is worth the $500-$1,000 that this weekeknd
is going to cost me. I mean, I'm looking for a reason to lay out that kind of
money for a weekend and 4 speakers won't do it for me (well, unless they are
just the right speakers).
RE Boring Photo talks: When Cameron did his Dallas workshop/presentation on
photog/editing, folks were not bored. As I recall, it wasn't for everyone but
there were a fair amount of attendees and they loved it.
What if we have TB do a workshop like "Point-counterpoint" with TB doing both
parts.

Wim van Drongelen. Check your 2001 disk. He's the little talk that most
people completely missed or ignored because it was right after Amano.

It's TomSpeak. Just ignore it. In my e-mail to him I mentioned that 2007
and on, the conventions would be organized by the AGA instead of local
clubs holding the reins.
In fact, I take most of the suggestions with a grain of salt. In his list
from last year that clearly now was lost or ignored, he had some local
folks from his botany connections. Sounds like he's backing off this.

I think so.
I also don't think they've budgeted time for additional workshops, so
those count against the other talks (I think).
