Re: [AGA-sc] Volunteers? (M.E.T. from AGA) (fwd)

She'll run away screaming.

I'll e-mail her and tell her that we want to get a few TFH ads wrapped up before moving her attention to something else. Meanwhile, I've started to make a list of tasks that the Membership Lady does.

I think we should all sit down and mull over our various responsibilities and write down how/why we do them in a certain way. Kinda like Ann's idea on the convention notes: write it down so that it makes sense to someone else. Then we should publish our notes for the archives.

I especially think Karen should do this because while I'm looking forward to the challenge, I'm a little nervous.

Except that now that I've had to dump the majority of TAG onto Cheryl, she needs help. Without TAG, we don't need ads.

Maybe she wants TWO jobs. <hee hee>

Someone suggested wh could be a replacement for Phil. Perhaps the most valuable task might be gettngs adds for TAG.

The Northeast Council of Aquarium Societies (NEC) celebrates its 50th year of service at its 31st annual convention, April 7-9, 2006 -- including *An Evening with Aquarium Legends*.

Read the speaker list, then download the registration form, and get set to join the fun at what promises to be the year's biggest tropical fish convention.

And while you're there, attend the AGA's annual meeting Friday afternoon (2-4pm). This year's speaker is Claus Christensen, Tropica's Managing Director.

Sure. Let's see how she does on the ads. Even if they're lousy, if she
follows through that's a plus.

She sounds good. However, before we give her anything
of an official status, why don't we give her some task
oriented things to do to see how she does. I am not
saying this is the case but we have been burned before
by folks who sounded great and then never fulfilled
their stated expectations.

We could give her the membership job. I can keep

the PO Box, traffic

isn't all that heavy. But she could do the

day-to-day database stuff

with a little training up.
