Re: [AGA-sc] credit card processing

Re: fees, I thought it was interesting how you could turn the account on and off. Like on for convention, off afterward and go back to the old paypal system.

Nice tip. Further info: the $30 is a one-time charge that Techsoup charges for hooking you up with the vendor and the donated equipment. Additonally there are the monthly and transaction charges from the merchant bank. Which might be good or bad. I haven't checked them out. Changing to a credit card processor probably also mean changing to a non-paypal web cart. sh * * * * * * * * * * * The Northeast Council of Aquarium Societies (NEC) celebrates its 50th year of service at its 31st annual convention, April 7-9, 2006 -- including *An Evening with Aquarium Legends*. Read the speaker list, then download the registration form, and get set to join the fun at what promises to be the year's biggest tropical fish convention. http://northeastcouncil.org/html/ And while you're there, attend the AGA's annual meeting Friday afternoon (2-4pm). This year's speaker is Claus Christensen, Tropica's Managing Director.

techsoup.com is offering a credit card processing account and equipment for $30.
