Pardon my skepticism but I think canceling post-purchase is about as
likely as rejecting SFBAAPS as host because they never met a single
deadline. Once you go on the date, you can just drop 'em. And It doesn't
look like there will be any alternatives unless some of us make up our
own little private safaris. And SFBAAPS reportedly broadly supports the
MBA field trip as a being a major component of the convention.
We could propose several options that are acceptable to AGA and let
SFBAAPS pick:
perhaps:
1) KR's suggestion that we make info about MBA available but don't
formally sponsor or produce a trip;
2) We formally sponsor and produce but in all mentions we state that the
event may be canceled and payments refunded if insufficiently subscribed.
3) We formally sponsor and produce but SFBAAPS underwrites any subsidy
on the Field Trip.

PS: If we do the MBA trip and Leon remains the primary MBA Field Trip
organizer, can he pull off the Auctions too?
