[AGA-sc] Re: WEb page

I'm OK making an announcement, but I don't think we should have reg's open until the field trip is worked out...within reason. I don't like the idea of having it "added on later". I do, however, think we should make it very clear that the field trip needs to be worked out by X date, so that Leon at least gets a chance to deal with it, but that if it isn't ready by then, we go ahead with regs sans field trip. I would suggest NEC as the deadline.

Re: speakers, I have sent e-mail to Dave Wilson yesterday. That was a pretty non-commital answer from Jim about the other two speakers, so I think I'm going to interpret it as "let's ask those guys".

I expect us to have the contract, fully signed. today. I think we can at that
point put up a web page if we can agree on prices. My thought is that we can
note that additional Field Trips amight be added in the near future.

I think we want to get the sales going asap.

Looks to me like we're good for speakers now, no? So we have dates, places, reg
and Banq price ($59 and $29.80) respectively and an FT price of $29 for MBA. We
could charge, say, $49 for the reg, but since the total us under $100, I sort
of figure we safe with the 59/29 combo.
We have speakers.

Anything else we need for a web page?

November too cold? Too hot? How would you like to spend part of November in San
Francisco?
