Re: [AGA-sc] Reaction? - AGA2K7

Naw that ain't a distraction, we are multi-tasking.
Another skill well honed by parenthood I might add.

I am soliciting location preferences right now for
AGA2K7. Once we decide where we want it I will start
negotiating our deal with hotels. Board willing, We
will have our hotel, field trips, and speaker line up
done well before AGA2K6.

My hope is to actually hand out the brochures for
registration for AGA2K7 in the welcome bags at AGA2K6.

By the way Florida is a great idea. I went to school
there and lived there for 10 years. I know the general
area that Tom goes too for Plantfest (Ginnie Springs,
Silver Spings) from over 20 years ago. I used to camp
on the springs. Crystal clear, count the scales on the
bass and 72 degrees year round.

However, Florida is a big state and the springs area
is not the only possibility so any specific city
preferences would be helpful.

Any other city/state locations of interest are welcome
too. Heck since we are doing all the work at least we
can select the venue this time. :-)
