I can hear erik saying GRRRR, for distracting the list, sorry, but I did think Florida would be cool, back to the kid, still vomitting and going on a week now..K On Thu, 23 Mar 2006, Karen Randall wrote:I agree that Florida in 2007 would be cool, and Christel would LOVE to come for that, just to go collecting.Karen ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kathy Olson" <kathy@thekrib.com> To: "Aquatic Gardeners Association Board" <aga-sc@thekrib.com> Sent: Thursday, March 23, 2006 3:08 PM Subject: Re: [AGA-sc] Reaction?I still think 2007 should be florida....do some collecting after hurricane season..hmm...maybe we can get a cool collecting talk next year with Kristel or whoever you rec.OK I digress back to work. I'd like to move forward that way. Next year would be a better time for Christel.. Without some time lapse inbetween, we will burn through all our stars too quickly or too frequently.sh ----- Original Message ---- From: Erik Olson <erik@thekrib.com> To: aga-sc@thekrib.com Sent: Thursday, March 23, 2006 2:28:13 PM Subject: [AGA-sc] Reaction? Jim is asking about Christel again. Seems to me she just spoke at NEC last year; we'd be better off getting one of Karen's suggestions. I have the feeling that the demand for speakers in the aquatic plant arena will continue. We exhausted my speaker list (Prof Tan, Claus, Dave), but I did have one more thought. Would it be reasonable to try for Kasselmann again. I thought her recent articles in TAG on her Brazil trip were about the best I've seen on field expeditions that I've seen in a while. She did bring out another book here in the US this past year, which had more of an Aquarium focus. She is a "name" in the hobby.Just a thought, Jim. -----Original Message----- From: Erik Olson <erik@thekrib.com> To: jiml1029@aim.com Sent: Wed, 22 Mar 2006 14:27:57 -0800 (PST) Subject: Re: [AGA-sc] No Dave Wilson (fwd)Karen definitely has some ideas (see the message thread below).
