CR: Also considering they are planning to start the field trip art some
gawd-awful early hour! :-) Everyone who is not local, and many that are,
will be staying over Thursday. But I think that if they're going to
drink our sodas and munch on our chips, then they need to help with
last-minute chores. Bagging, stapling, whatever.
>>>>I agree. I won't write them a reimbursment check until I know you have signed off on the time-cards. ;-)
Don't forget the sales table. That was great, but we need to find
someone local to take over. We could pay a couple of spouses or something.
>>> Yes but we ought ot be able to get someone to do it -- it's only during parts fo the weekend, not dureing the talks or banq, etc.
>>>>I didn't know all that stuff about regs and name tags in 2004. Juicy stuff!
Maybe someone local has some large teenagers to help cart things around
and help Erik set up and tear down.
>>>>>I think just need someone local dude for rental equip. What stuff Erik doesn't handle himself, I'm always willing to help with. I like things that go buzz and whirrrr and have lights on them -- uh, that buzzing, whirr and lights would be the equipment, not Erik.
Tshirts
Funny you should mention that. Barbara works for Bennigans, and might
could get us some blank wholesale t-shirts at a very nice price. I was
going to see about having the logo printed on some black shirts (Gary
Bagnall wants black). But I suspect that our logo has WAY too many
colors. Plus, I'm not sure what Larry's going to think about everyone
wearing his face. :-) A new t-shirt design would be great. Want me to
ask Ricky? (If we ask Ricky, he'll tell me that he doesn't want to put
the lace plant in it.)
Ricky is so into those stark graphic-art designs and the follwo-through on the contest art wasn't 100% iirc. Don't get me wrong; I've bought more than my share of DFWAPC shirts. But does Karen have anything applicable -- or is that applique-able?
