You hit them separately and it can put them off. There's the Contest, the convention and TAG. "Hey, didn't we just donate to you guys?" The TAG ads are the most valuable, worth $1,200 per year. Selling them a table for more than $120 would be worth (to us) $120 off on the TAG ads. sh ----- Original Message ---- From: Cheryl Rogers <cheryl@wilstream.com> To: Aquatic Gardeners Association Board <aga-sc@thekrib.com> Sent: Friday, June 2, 2006 9:32:44 PM Subject: Re: [AGA-sc] [Fwd: RE: The Aquatic Gardener ad submission deadline] Didn't Erica somebody volunteer for this? I am almost finished with my list of vendors, like I'm almost finished with your pdf's and almost finished with the new brochure. HAHAHA! Wipes eyes. Time for another beer. Anyway, we'll have a comprehensive list for a volunteer to work with very soon. However, I have been feeling the need to formally contact vendors again regarding TAG advertising. Do we coordinate or hit them twice? While it would be cheaper to coordinate, I think we should hit them twice from different "departments." Otherwise we give them the option of thinking it's an either/or situation when actually they can support both TAG and the convention/contest. Hey! How about we work them a deal that if they buy a table at the convention they get a 10% discount on a yearly TAG ad? _______________________________________________ AGA-sc mailing list AGA-sc@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/aga-sc
