I don't understand why you don't understand.

Ricky wants Luis to go to AGA. He offers to let Luis have his comps. To 
make us and Luis feel better about it, he will share his presentation 
with Luis. They will come up with something in Iwagumi together.

The question was never to give another set of speaker comps.

That's the whole point. Ricky will pay so that AGA doesn't have to comp 
another speaker, but Luis will feel good about going as a contributor 
instead of a free-loader.

This is what I am talking about. Does it really matter to you or GA 
whether Ricky pays for himself or for Luis?

That was never the question. As I said before, "We're not talking about
