[AGA-sc] AGA2K4 vs AGA2K6
I thought it might be nice hear again what we've all thought about from time to
time in planning AGA2K6.
In 2004 we had 108 persons that paid for registration. [In addition we had
vendors that paid, auction-only registrations, and for a variety of reasons a
few FTs and Banqs that weren't regular registrants, for a total of 121
attendees that paid to attend one or more events.]
That was with Amano and 80% of the regs came in the last 3 months!
AGA2K6 has 67 paid registrants with about a month to go.
While I don't think we'll see numbers as high in 2006, we're doing pretty good.
If this convention hits 90 paid regs -- the currently projected breakeven point
-- without Amano and on the west coast, that will be an excellent turnout.
Maybe not financially excellent, but a darn good showing by any other standard.
