Larry, you did what you needed to do. It was much better than it could have been. I don't think anyone from the area knew about the diner. Kathy and I also discovered it yesterday morning as we were leaving (when it was sunny). It was invisible in the rain. I still say, though, that the Friday and Saturday night music was actually less intrusive than the band at the 2003 convention. Maybe it was the better mics, or that the speakers were louder (Christel and George Booth were very soft-spoken). But beyond the occasional chuckle, I think everyone still enjoyed the talks just as much.
