The
points are being given because the contract requires them to gives the points
-- they're like a little bonus feature like green stamps or Marriot Rewards
Points, etc..
The
$1,800 is entirely a separate thing, a liquidation of damages for not
performing in some way under the contract -- basically, a cash payment
being accepted as remedy for the harm caused by the hotel to the AGA.
