Re: [AGA-sc] AGA Calender

Don't give up. Shoppig is a good thing. I want to spend some of the money too. It keeps accumulating month after month and someday some folks are gonna say we're fat and then insist we do something they think is brilliant but will in the long term be, well, stupid.

I'd like to spend in a way that we can maintain a continued level of assets of around $40k. So we could start with $15g but want to spend only about $5 g per year from then forward (unless membership picks up, of course).

Some proposals given, followed, or merely thought about:

Contest calendars

Translation of Kasselman

Package something with some vendors? Coupons? Discounts??

Bigger TAG

Longer TAG

Premium clubships

More AGA shirts

Subdizing research (but who'se gonna check on the spending or the research?)

Spend an extra $20 g on the next convention and have really high production values, crepes for breakfast, mandarin oranges for snacks, etc.

. . .
