Re: [AGA-sc] AGA 2k8 Contract

Peronsal view: at this point they have pretty much refused all the major things we've asked for except prices, on which you've beaten them back a couple of times. For example, they've rejected compensating the AGA for noise problems, rejected making any promise to provide acceptably quiet meeting rooms, require insurance, rejected not charging for items we haven't expressly agreed to before being charged, and more). I can't think of any of the contested items in this version that I'd be willing to give up -- if they won't sign this version of the contract, I have doubts about doing business with them. If they insist on the insurance, then , at a minimum, I want mutual obligations on the noise issue, including compensation.

Other thoughts -- stuff we might have covered but I don't remember:  Do we know what the charges are to hook into the PA in the meeting rooms? Does the banquet meal charge include food service of any kind (buffet, table service, etc. or is that an add on charge)? Perhaps we shouldn't sign a space contract without seeing the banquet agreement or to have the food service terms spelled out more fully in this agreement?

Good point,

Anyway, I struck the clause again so take a look and
let me know if there are any other changes that should
be made. If not I will resend it to them.

Thanks,
