Last I heard from Erik, registrations were picking up. So maybe
we’ll be closer than we fear.
I’ll wait until a few more weigh in on the dinners before saying
yes to him, since so far it’s just you and me.<g>

Wife and two kids plus him. But it’s still less than we’d
pay if he decided to stay in the hotel.
Also, we all need to remember that we EXPECTED this convention
to be in the red… We are bringing in two Asian speakers. We made a
conscious decision to do that, even knowing that we could probably not break
even that way.

Thanks, but I won't need a room... remember, I live right here ;-) We're
only an hour outside of the city so it's not a big deal to drive in and out.

The salmon. My family might also attend the banquet... not sure yet... are
children ok, if not we can find a sitter, just wanted to check - it would be
my wife and two sons (11 and 7) if they do attend.
